It is again time to pay attention to birds around us as global Great Backyard Bird Count(GBBC) is held on 15th – 18th of February http://gbbc.birdcount.org/. Participating GBBC is very easy – just look for birds for at least 15 minutes and upload your list to eBird. Repeat as often as possible during the four days of the count.
Through its GardenBirdWatch initiative, FOGSL invites all Sri Lankan birders to participate in this event joining tens of thousands of birdwatchers all over the world to create an annual snapshot of the state of the world’s birds. We also invite you to share a link of your eBird record on the GBBC FB event.
