World Migratory Bird Day 2018

This Saturday 12th of May is the World Migratory Bird Day.

“Unifying our Voices for Bird Conservation” is the theme of World Migratory Bird Day 2018. This year, the campaign will have a new global dimension, bringing together the world’s main migration corridors, also called flyways – and for the first time, with two peak campaign days in the year.

The World Migratory Bird Day will be more meaningful for us from this year onward as the day will be celebrated twice a year, on the second Saturdays in both May and October. The day in October will be more meaningful for Sri Lanka where we can ‘Welcome to the Birds’. So stay focus on next MigrantWatch season..!!
