FOGSL organized Kurulu-Kaiya Birdfair on 16-17 of December. The event consist of the number of activities including guided nature walks in Thalawathugoda wetlands, outdoor lectures and exhibition. A number of outdoor lectures were held on subjects such as wetland birds, wetland biodiversity, bird photography, urban fishing cats, freshwater fish in Colombo wetlands, the monkeys in urban habitats, adaptations of birds for urban landscapes. Kids program continued with birding session and some other activities including completing a paper coot with their pledges on nature. Kurulu-Kaiya has been an opportunity for the Sri Lankan bird community to get together.
