Garden Birds and Biodiversity Watch 2023

To mark World Environment Day, FOGSL launches the Garden Birds and Biodiversity Watch 2023 (GBBW2023). Birds and other elements of nature in our own backyard would be the first thing that connects us with nature. So let’s step out and pay attention to the garden birds and biodiversity. This is also a Citizen Science project, so register your garden too to the GBBW2023 and submit your observations through eBird or provided link following the instructions.

ගෙවත්තේ සිටින පක්ෂීන් හා ජෛව විවිධත්වය නිරීක්ෂණය කිරීම (GBBW) යනු මහජනතාව (විශේෂයෙන් ළමයින්) කුරුල්ලන් සහ ඔවුන්ගේ ගෙවතුවල ජෛව විවිධත්වය ගවේෂණය කිරීමට දිරිමත් කරන මුලපිරීමකි. මෙය ජුනි 5 වනදා එනම් ‘පරිසර දිනය’ දා  ආරම්භ වන අතර  සති දෙකක් පුරා පැවැත්වේ. ඔබගේ ගෙවත්තත් GBBW2023 සඳහා ලියාපදිංචි කර, ගෙවත්තට පැමිණෙන කුරුල්ලන් නිරීක්ෂණය කර මෙහි සඳහන් උපදෙස් පරිදි GBBW වෙත ඉදිරිපත් කරන්න

How to participate in GBBW 2023

  • First go to the registration link down below by clicking on the link or scanning the QR code.
  • Fill all the details and submit the form.
  • Then you will receive the GBBW2023 ID and the link to the data record sheet.
  • Observe birds in your garden at any time of the day for a desired period of time.
  • Enter the details in the given google form and submit. You can submit multiple records through out the competition period using the same link.
  • If you are an eBird user you can use your eBird account to record your observations.  Please make sure you share your recordings with fogsl1976 and mention your GBBW 2023 ID in the comment section.

GBBW 2023 සඳහා සහභාගී වන ආකාරය

  • පළමුව, සම්බන්ධ වීමේ link එක මත ක්ලික් කිරීමෙන් හෝ QR කේතය ස්කෑන් කිරීමෙන් පහත ලියාපදිංචි සබැඳියට යන්න.
  • සියලුම විස්තර පුරවා පෝරමය සම්පූර්ණ කරන්න
  • එවිට ඔබට GBBW2023 හැඳුනුම්පත සහ දත්ත වාර්තා පත්‍රයට අදාළ link  එක ලැබෙනු ඇත.
  • ඔබේ ගෙවත්තේ සිටින කුරුල්ලන් දවසේ ඕනෑම වේලාවක නිරීක්ෂණය කරන්න.
  • ඔබට ලබා දී ඇති ගූගල් පෝරමයේ විස්තර ඇතුළත් කර තහවුරු කරගන්න. එකම link එක භාවිතා කිරීමෙන් තරඟ කාල සීමාව පුරා වාර්තා කිහිපයක් ඉදිරිපත් කළ හැකිය.
  • ඔබ eBird පරිශීලකයෙක් නම් ඔබට ඔබගේ නිරීක්ෂණ වාර්තා කිරීමට ඔබගේ eBird ගිණුම භාවිතා කළ හැක. කරුණාකර ඔබ ඔබේ වාර්තා කිරීම් fogsl1976 වෙත ලැබීමට සළස්වන්න. එවිට ඔබේ GBBW 2023 හැඳුනුම්පත සඳහන් කිරීමට වග බලා ගන්න.
